Booking your Portugal Pass
Ordering your Interrail Portugal Pass through International Rail is very simple. All you have to do before making your booking is decide what kind of trip you want to have.

Start by choosing your number of "travel days" (days on which you can take an unlimited number of train journeys). If you’re keen to travel all over, hopping from Porto up to Montesinho Natural Park, and then down to Lisbon and Faro, you might be best served buying a pass that allows for 8 days of train travel within the month. Other rail passes allow for 3, 4 and 6 days of travel within a 4-week period.

Don’t forget that International Rail can also supply individual train tickets for travel within Portugal – visit our Rail Tickets page to find out more.

Using your Portugal Pass
Once you have your Interrail Portugal Pass, you are free to travel on a number of Portuguese train services – provided you use them on your selected travel days.

You will be able to get exclusive discounts on sightseeing bus tours in Porto, Braga, Coimbra and Lisbon. First class travellers can also enjoy free access to the CP Lounge in Lisbon Oriente station.

If you are planning to travel beyond Portugal or intend on exploring various countries in Europe over a longer period of time, then you may want to consider purchasing an InterRail Global pass which allows unlimited and cost effective rail travel on the complete network of the participating railways including Ireland (subject to the terms and conditions of the pass).
