UPDATE: UK Border Agency strike action Wednesday 30th November 2011

Following on from our previous communication regarding today's public sector industrial action. We have received an update on Eurostar services, which is as follows.

It is expected that fewer UK Border Agency staff than normal will be available at the Eurostar Paris and Brussels terminals, passengers may encounter delays upon check-in, in particular in the afternoon. Trains could also be delayed on departure.

It is recommend that customers arrive at the Paris and Brussels terminals one hour before departure, rather than the usual 30 minutes.

Passengers returning from Disneyland Paris should be reminded that the UK Border Agency is not able to carry out passport checks on departure from Marne-la-Vallée station (Disneyland® Paris). Passports are checked on arrival in the UK. As a result, customers should expect some queuing on arrival. Customers should bear this in mind if making any onward travel plans.

Eurostar services departing from the UK should not be affected. However, certain trains have been closed for sales today.
