Princely India - Itinerary, 8 Days / 7 Nights

Mumbai - Vadodara - Udaipur - Jodhpur - Bikaner - Jaipur - Ranthambore - Agra - Delhi

Day 01 / Saturday - Mumbai-Vadodara

Complete check-in formalities for the Maharajas' Express at The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai before proceeding to the station to board the train.

Day 02 / Sunday - Vadodara

Disembark and proceed to visit the World Heritage Site of Champaner. Continue to the vintage estate of Jambughoda Palace for a royal lunch followed by the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum. Later, enjoy supper at the magnificent Laxmi Vilas Palace.

Day 03 / Monday - Udaipur

Admire the magnificent landscape as you arrive into Udaipur. Visit the City Palace and explore its fabulous halls. Experience traditional hospitality over lunch at the Durbar Hall and later, if you wish, take a Walking Tour through the bazaars of Udaipur.

Day 04 / Tuesday - Jodhpur

A ride through dramatic desert landscapes brings you to Jodhpur. Enjoy a walking tour of the Old Clock Tower Market and continue to the majestic Mehrangarh Fort. Later, savour a royal cocktail evening at the Fort

Day 05 / Wednesday - Bikaner

Arrive at the desert kingdom of Bikaner. Take an optional excursion to Lalgarh Palace Museum this morning and in the afternoon visit the unassailable fortress of Junagarh. Participate in a camel-cart procession followed by an evening of Sundowner cocktails, barbecue and folk performances.

Day 06 / Thursday - Jaipur

The pink city of Jaipur welcomes you with an Exhibition Elephant Polo match and cocktail lunch. Thereafter proceed for an optional visit to the impregnable Amber Fort followed by free time for exploring and shopping.

Day 07 / Friday - Ranthambore - Fatehpur Sikri

Embark on an exciting safari into the Ranthambore National Park and continue to see the fascinating sites of Fatehpur Sikri. Return to the train to enjoy an 'Indian Night'.

Day 08 / Saturday - Agra - Delhi

Proceed for an early morning visit to the exquisite Taj Mahal followed by champagne breakfast atop Taj Khema. Enjoy free time for shopping and continue to Delhi where your journey comes to an end.
