Day 01 / Sunday - Delhi-Agra

Check-in at the railway station for your journey to the city of Mughal splendour, Agra. Visit the massive Agra Fort followed by high tea atop Taj Khema. Enjoy free time for exploring and shopping before returning to the train.

Day 02 / Monday - Agra-Gwalior

Visit the renowned Taj Mahal at sunrise before you begin your journey through the dramatic landscape of deep and narrow gorges to Gwalior. Lunch is at the 120-year-old Usha Kiran Palace followed by a tour of the magnificent Gwalior Fort and opulent Jai Vilas Palace Museum. Relish a royal spread of fine delicacies at the palace compounds.

Day 03 / Tuesday - Orchha-Khajuraho

Visit the bejewelled Jahangiri Mahal in Orchha and continue to Khajuraho to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Western and Eastern Group of Temples. Proceed to witness the fascinating son-et-lumiere spectacle.

Day 04 / Wednesday - Umaria (Bandhavgarh National Park)

Proceed for a Village Tour before the opportunity to participate in the 'Forests for Tigers' program. Get ready for an exciting afternoon safari into the Bandhavgarh National Park.

Day 05 / Thursday - Varanasi

Your tour of the holy city of Varanasi includes the ancient ruins of Sarnath, Varanasi Silk Weaving Centre and a scenic Cruise on the sacred Ganges. Witness the magical evening Aarti on the ghats of the Ganges.

Day 06 / Friday - Lucknow

Welcome to the fabled city of Nawabs, Lucknow. Visit The Residency, Rumi Darwaza and the spectacular Bada Imambara. Experience the elegance and charm of traditional Nawabi hospitality during an 'Indian Evening' of mesmerizing music, courtesan dance and culinary delights from the Nawabi kitchens.

Day 07 / Saturday - Delhi

Arrive into Delhi and bid farewell to the Maharajas' Express as your journey comes to an end.
