The Maharajas' Express

Conceived as a palatial hotel on wheels, the Maharajas' Express features luxuriously appointed carriages equipped with every modern amenity. All passenger cabins feature queen-sized beds with en suite bathrooms boasting marble baths and spacious showers and include individual temperature control, the first of its kind in India, and state-of-the-art facilities including LCD televisions, DVD players, direct dial telephone and internet connection to name a few.

The journey between Delhi and Mumbai takes in the breathtaking deserts, forts and palaces of Rajasthan, while highlights of the round trip from Delhi include Agra and the Taj Mahal, the temples of Khajuraho, the Bandhavgarh National Park, home to several dozen Bengal tigers, and the sacred and oldest city in India, Varanasi, spread out along the west bank of the Ganges.
